Maidstone Market

Maidstone Market at Lockmeadow is the envy of many market towns, with a great variety of stalls every Tuesday and Saturday, many under cover.
 
The general market operates from 7am until approximately 1.30pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
 
Throughout the week there are numerous events held within the Lockmeadow Market Hall, including household auctions, vintage toy fairs, family history fairs, boot fairs, dog shows, bird & reptile shows and many other events.
 
Every Thursday a furniture auction takes place, viewing from 8am.  Auction commences at 10am.
 
There has been a market in Maidstone for more than 700 years and that tradition has contributed to the success of the town today.
